Great hanging pendant light. The piece is wired through the rope. Fits 4 bulbs. This piece has not been tested personally to see if it works, but we were told it does. Either way, it is a great hanging pendant that will look amazing as-is with 4 silver domed bulbs or bulbs with little clip-on shades. The wood has little areas of wear and dings from age. In good excellent condition otherwise.
