Shipping/Handling/Returns/Packaging
All sales are considered final.
We are a one-person operation, in a rural location, and it sometimes takes a few days to get an item packaged up and shipped out. Thank you for your patience.
Our packaging might sometimes look less than perfect. This is because we care deeply for the environment and feel strongly about reusing packaging materials and boxes. We will recycle as much as possible and because of this, your package may look a little disheveled.
If you live in southern California, please get in touch about possible pick-up or delivery. We do regular delivery runs to Los Angeles and would be happy to work with you to get your bulkier items to you. Our delivery charges are fair. Delivery windows could be anywhere from 2-21 days depending on where in the delivery cycle your order happens to fall. Just ask us.
Additionally, we are happy to hold for pick-up for your items. Please keep reading below about our storage policies.
As mentioned above, we do not generally offer returns, items are one-of-a-kind and considered final sale. However, things happen sometimes in transit and we will consider a return on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible for a return, the item must have been broken in transit or lost in the mail. Returns due to item condition are not acceptable due to the nature of vintage items and the fact that all vintage has areas of wear and perceived areas of flaw. We will not take responsibility for the mistakes made by our shipping partners but will work with you to file a claim.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at quest@monte.vision.
Storage
If you have chosen the option to have the item held for pick-up, you have 14 days to pick-up unless we have agreed to a later time or alternative situation. For large items, any days after the 14 days will start to accrue a $20/per day storage fee. We do not have an infinite amount of storage space.
Items not picked up within 30 days will be considered forfeited by the customer,and will be returned to stock, unless we have had a specific conversation about an extended hold period.

Studio Rentals
We offer local & Los Angeles production studios up to 10 day rentals for all of our vintage furniture and bulk vintage home goods. Our rental fee is 30% of the retail price of the items borrowed. Rental costs can be applied to any purchases made at the end of the 10 days.
