Inspired by The Sportsmen painting and sketches of Kazimir Malevich (1878 - 1935). The current sportsmen figures available through the Guggenheim are fiberglass, and this one is wood, which leads us to believe that it may be an earlier production version. Hand-painted with several small areas of wear (see pictures). In great vintage condition otherwise.
